You’re not alone. I haven’t been here for awhile. Last time I posted was back in February. I haven’t self injured in several years, but there are certainly times when I have the urge. I have been very fortunate to have found a doctor who genuinely seems to care. My current medication seems to be working well, but again the urge to SI does occasionally rear its ugly head. Times of great stress certainly trigger those feelings. I have been successful in channeling myself towards reading, praying, walking or simply going to sleep instead of acting on those urges. Journaling sometimes helps too. Anything to keep my hands or head busy doing something else. I’m Catholic, so many nights I go to bed holding my rosary. Like I said, anything to keep my hands occupied doing something other than harming myself. I’ll keep you in my prayers. Stay safe and know you are not alone.

Good morning. You are not alone. Hope you have a peaceful day. Have you ever tried “raw journaling”?
