One of my favorite little sayings from rehab, and it kept me going after a relapse, is “keep doing the next right thing”…if I have advice it would be to not beat yourself up over it anymore, it happened and that’s ok just figure out what the next right thing to keep you headed for recovery is and do that 🙂 ive found that there is a big relief when you are gentle with yourself after a relapse and you just keep moving forward. Good luck!
There is help available if you’ll just reach out for it. Nobody can force you to get help, you need to make the choice to get it. You can always call our 800 number – it’s an information line so you’d leave a msg. and we’d call you back. Let us know if there is a certain time that’s best to call you back. It’s confidential and we can suggest ways to get some help and support. Joni is the person who would be calling you back and she’s fantastic! I hope you’ll reach out for help – 800-366-8288
