If I were to call 1800dontcut, would I be able to talk about what I’m going through, or is it just an information number that tells me about the program and they won’t actually be able to help on the spot?
I asked a similar question a few days back & Pam one of the therapists told me that the 1 800 DON’T CUT isn’t a hot line. Running a hot line requires staffing to answer, etc & the folks at SAFE are busy helping those at SAFE facilities get better. Not that a hot line wouldn’t be great, it would be just right now there is not one. Pam passed these phone numbers a long to me & I will pass them on to you I hope it helps.
