Im new here. I enjoy reading everyone’s blogs, its all very comforting to know I’m not alone. I’ve been SI’ing since I was 14 on and off. I’ve done it steadily for the past year and finally started getting serious about getting better about a month and a half ago. I’ve been self-injury free for 10 days now…I know that’s not long,but it’s a start 🙂
That’s great saf! What do you think is helping you stop harming yourself? Maybe share your thoughts with the others here?

Thanks:) marcelp and anyone reading…I’ve just been doing A LOT of the impulse control logs and using positive things to distract me. I started writing in a journal regularly, if anything just to distract me from the urge at the moment. It’s so hard :/ I’m trying to focus on one day at a time, and in that day one situation at a time and one urge at a time, If I think about committing to stop SIing forever I get too overwhelmed.
