Um, well I was given this site adress by TWLOHA website.
I have SI since the end of 7th grade and I am currently a sophomore in high school. No one knows about my SI, only one of my friends do but she is no longer my friend. I have never felt more alone and I’m not sure what I’m looking for by this site because I’m not sure if I want to stop.
This site is great, and if you ever feel like you want to talk to someone, there will be people here to listen. 🙂
I’ll be your friend, and through email or texting. You can text me anything you want, if it’s okay? My email is kristy.cox@stu.whitley.kyschools.us. Tell me if it’s okay. I love TWLOHA too
I found out about this blog through TWLOHA too…I emailed them after a relapse in April and they gave me the link. It’s all about using your resources…the friends and family you have (although, sometimes that is the most difficult resource, because you don’t know what kind of response you’ll get from them) also, several blogs, this website included, groups like SMA (self mutilators anonymous) and TWLOHA, and the book “Bodily Harm”, compiled and written by SAFE. If you have a religion or don’t, you also may want to look into utilizing that faith, and trusting in a higher power…after all, it’s him that created us and him that gets us through our struggle…we always overcome. Resources, are the vital organs of recovery…but the thing that starts it is the will and want to get better…and that comes over time.
<3, rescue
