I hate to hear that you are having such a difficult time. You must know that your 2 years and 9 months of being SI-free are NOT “down the drain.” You have not lost all those accomplishments you’ve made; they haven’t just disappeared. I imagine that one of the things you must do is reflect on the events/emotions that led to your slip-up, create a game plan on how to handle similar situations in the future, and move forward. You are not starting all over; you are just picking yourself back up and getting back on track. You can do it!
Hun, its not the end of the world. Everyone makes mistakes. Life is all about falling, but its those who continue and get back up who really get to see other sides of life. Now get back up! 😛
I’m proud of you for not injuring yourself for almost three years. I wish I was as great at quitting as you.
