Hey everyone, I graduated yesterday! I am so proud and happy that I made it through to the end of the program. I’ll never forget what that day one was like and what that first week was like, believing I wouldn’t make it. But I kept an open mind and followed the program with all the logs and following through on filling in all those logs and knowing that I need to continue logging as I am awaiting my flight to go back home.
Thanks to EVERYONE at S.A.F.E. Intensive for such an awesome program. It has truly changed my life and I hope will have a long lasting effect on the choices I make in the future.
To all those who graduated while I was there, I hope this post finds you doing well and coping with “real” life. I miss you all!

hey Kelly!!! its soo good to ‘see’ you!! im so glad that you graduated!! that is just awesome.. I am doing really well.. I need to call you!! we are getting hit by really bad hurricane in a little bit.. that should be interesting.. You should be soooo very proud of yourself for graduating! that is such an awesome accomplishment. I remember the first week of you being there and you saying the whole thing about needing to treat the self injury not the depression? Remember that? You have come sooooooo far since then! and you deserve to pat yourself on the back for that!! Keep in touch girl!!
love ya

I proud of you I know how hard the program was because I did it in July and I didn’t know what to expect. I know I hated that first week and talking in group, but as Madonna said “I made through the wilderness.” Now trying to cope in real life without SI is totally a different way of handling things. S.A.F.E. Alternative definitely saved my life in ways I didn’t know possible.
Congrats on making it through the program! *hugs*
